The Middle East in the context of this journal broadly refers to the Arab countries of the Arab League as well as Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. Though the priority of the MEJEF is to cover a wide range of topics in economics and finance relating to the Middle East countries as defined, studies from other countries and international comparisons will also be considered.
